We, got Ali Du’Shua with his Fantasy barbeque Grill style, and Keith from the Beauty Village with something Sweet, with his Tossie Roll and a few more Stylists just waiting to join the fun.
Once, I contact all of the Stylists that are invited to this Fancy affair gathering, all on Fantasy Square Island I can continue on with the making of this story.

Gayle was born and raised in Detroit Michigan on June 5, 1956.
She started piano lessons at the age of 6 years of age.
By, the of 8 years of age Gayle, was playing by ear and the rest is history.
Gayle has three brothers, Gary, Robert, Derrick and 1 sister, Linda.
Gayle, comes from a musical family which generated from our mom.
My mother, Norma has been singing for years, and ever since I could remember as a young boy going to church.
My mother was the choir director, Loyal Temple Baptist Church, Chene & Scott, Detroit, MI.
Gayle, practiced and played the piano every day and thank her parents so much for encouragement and their sacrifice in time with arranging for her to take lessons because it has become such a powerful force in her life.
Gayle remembers her Dad saying to her before he died, 06.05.67.
“If I buy this piano, there is no stopping”, she believed in her dad so much she told him she will never quit.
Gayle has 2 wonderful boys, Darius and Demetrius and they are the world to her.
Gayle has played and sang in many churches, weddings, funerals and special occasions.
God, gave Gayle the vision October, 2008 for Piano Keys for Christ Piano Lessons and Gayle thank God everyday for the inspiration in stating this business venture…Piano Keys for Christ which has a growing client’s of all ages.

It’s Friday everybody and the Sky’s are clear the sun is shinning bright, with temperature’s ranging in the mid 60’s for the rest of the week.
I’m up early as usual, reading my scripture’s, prayer and the Steve Harvey Morning show.
After, breakfast I’ll go to the supply store to get some Hair…Blonde will be the color for my Baby Boo, 27 piece’s will be the style, trapper side, layer cut with full body through the crown.
2 Days 1 night till Hair Wars and I need my hair trim.
My split end are rough and I need a cut.
I think I’ll stop by Mel’s Hair Salon, 6080 Woodward, Det, MI. and hope that one of the girls could trim me…and I could do the rest, being the I’m the Super Hair Fighter and I’m Super Soul Serious, when it comes to hair.

This week-end trip to Flint will give me time away from my Styling chair and return with a better and stronger to revised my plans in becoming a disturber of hair products.
Well, I’m all check in @ the ticket counter, and the time is now 2:15.
I might as well take time to relax and breathe while going over my notes.
Everything is going according to plan and schedule.
The world is turning
I’m the kind of person that likes to plan ahead, doing this in this way, alone me to formulate my options in working out the best plan to work the situation out.
Today, I’m on my way to Flint, to meet with Bernard tomorrow, Saginaw Friday and Saturday, Lansing as we roll with CONVENIENT BEAUTY SUPPLY ON WHEELS, and to promote my the launching of The Barber Shop Blog Realty story time.

The Barber Shop Blog Reality show will feature a selected Stylist, and follow them around during the course of their routine work day.
The Blog story will documenting their activity’s as they go on with their work cutting, styling, shampooing around the Salon.
I’m no stranger in relationship as I think about helping him sell his product at a trade show.
It was my job to draw people to Bernard’s prouduct table.
I’m a communicator at heart and a people person, which made the work easy in loving what you love, you just do it.
Time now 2:20, the bus is now boarding.
Moving out of the thermal and on my way…my phone is rings, its Bernard inquiring of my ETA into Flint, where he will pick me up.
The bus ride must have been 45 minute’s.
I arrived into Flint about 4:20 pm; Bernard was there waiting setting behind the wheel, with the motor running, and ready to roll. 
I put my bags in the Van and knuckled down on Bernard, as he put the van in gear and hit the pedal and we were of.
I had reservations @ the Holiday Inn, but after checking out my option now that I’m here in Flint, I decided to stay at the Super 8, this in which I saved $140.00.
After, registering into the motel, I took my bags into the room.
Bernard hung around for a minute making sure that I was OK and settled in.
Bernard, informed me that he had to make a run and that I would see him Friday morning to begin the run, headed to Lansing..
I settled into my room, and realizing it was time to get something to eat by the signal of my stomach saying, feed me!!
Walley’s Restaurant was located next door to the motel, so convenience is the game so I followed through.
Time now, 6:29 pm Thursday.
I truly needed this time off to myself, and enjoying the quiet and relaxing moments will come easy.
Bernard called me later that evening,checking with me to see if everything was OK.
We talked over business plan and Marketing of what I would expect while were on the road.
that will help one become successful in becoming a Product Man by on the job training.
Time now, 8: 15 pm Thursday and I’m all tired out.
Even, while at home in Detroit, I never watch television its good entertainment but if you want to get ahead faster.
Sure, I look forward to watching the news to only be informed.
I’ll be so, glad when tomorrow gets here, so we can get on the road with the Product Man. Good night…

I noticed the day light cracking through the curtain’s windows of the motel room.
I praise and thank God for each and every day no matter where I am He is still the same God.
I continue to read my Daily Bread, and follow the study scriptures readings and then Prayed.
I forget my Bible, but wouldn’t you know it the motel had one in the draw of the night stand.
Waiting on Bernard…I can’t wait to get rolling.
I still haven’t forgot that day talking to Bernard about the business and he informed me that he goes to about 20 salon’s a day with his Convenient Beauty Supply on Wheels, and with a 5 minute limited visit for each salon his life style Wednesday – Saturday…rolling along supplying the need.
I feel happy in my plans, by come to Flint to write this Blog story on the Product Man, supplying the Stylist from his Convenient Beauty Supply on Wheels The Hair Industry makes an interesting stories to tell that will help to establish the beginning edition of the Barber Shop Blog Reality Story, and there’s a story in every salon you walk into.

After, breakfast, I returned to the motel to close my eyes for a minute, before the wheels get turning of the Convenient Beauty Supply on Wheels, and further along with this story of a Product Man supplying the hair industry with proper products to a professional job.

The Product Man just called, checking in, we’ll be on the road real soon.
The Product Man has a very good system of business where he texts the Stylist before time, giving the Stylist’s time to respond, giving time to fill up the Van with the orders.
I’m glad, that I brought my piano along to keep me company.
I just couldn’t think of not practicing while I was away…so my Casio 66 key Keyboard goes where I go and the Yamaha 77 keys stays at home.
What’s up, Bernard. Good morning, De, ready to roll. Sure, I was born to roll.
I’m truly grateful to Bernard for taking time to taking me under his wings to showing me the inside out of his Convenient Beauty Supply on Wheels.
I enjoy Bernard’s company, and will surly enjoy the ride in and out of the Salon’s.
Bernard, is a regular kind of guy, talking trash, laughter and believe’s in letting the good times rolls, but when it comes to business the fun come a halt.
It’s strictly a business man with a system of supply and demand, as I over heard his conversation from a stylist inquiring about her order.
Bernard had a pit stop before we got on the road.
I stayed in the van comfortably listening to the radio, chill in with the radio on.

Well, Act 2 has just begun.
I had made my back to the dressing room.
After, walking with the stylist’s and their model’s to the side stage area.
This is the small area where everyone is lined up according to the next performer appear on stage.
I really, wanted to see the feelings of emotions on the faces of the performers as they step, by, step traveling to side stage, or behind the stage to be up next.
In this way of show readiness, the Stylist’s will be lined up for the next act to knock em’ dead helping in starting a show on time.

This would give me a break from the dress room and time to socialize as the show goes into intermission.
First things, first, and my sole obligation here today is in the dressing room area taking good notes that will be helpful to me in writing a good blog story off my dressing room moments watching others prepare for the Hair Wars.
After, returning from stage side, the Dressing room was energized and once again the room was filled with new energy and new faces of creative artists getting ready for Act 2.
Model call…Ok listen up when your name is called, Von Jour Reece and Donell Danny Davis 3-D line up at the rear of the room.
Slowly, I made my way over to Rita’s corner.
Rita, is head lined from the Magic Palace salon.
I couldn’t help but to noticed her earlier.
Styling and dressing her models, which all had hair matching the outfits giving an over look in style and fashion.
I was dying to meet her, but kept my composure to be sure.
I walked over and introduced myself to her as she went on busy on in dressing and styling her models.
It seems more like Rita was getting her crew ready for a Broadway Musical Show production in hair.
The only different was…all of Rita’s model’s hair matched in accordance with their outfits made of 100 % hair.
Each of model’s hair had their own stage name…matching their outfits and hair style.
Blue Bubby,.. Pretty in Pink,.. Petty Flower,.. White Diamond,…Tangerine Orange,.. Petty Pink Poole,… Black Bird,,,, Afro Puff,… Cowboy…. and a Skunk.

I haven’t seen you… in about 10 years or so, but, I have kept up with your work through the Hair Styling Magazine’s.

Great!! De, working hard, little older and wiser, but I’m glad to be here just the same.
Alonzo’s work and spirit as a profession platform artist is simply breath-taking with all his performances.
Alonzo is a class elegant performance in style with the delivery from his beautiful Models striking a pose excellent in workmanship.

I remember, been on the line up back stage on one of the pasted Hair Wars shows.
My area was along side of Alonzo.
We were getting ready for show time but, I couldn’t help but to look over @ his work as a showman and Gentleman preparing his models for show time.

Today, Alonzo has his hair cut short, but still have the thickness of hair.

I love her innovated style of creations…as I watched her work and complemented on her long fashionable stilettos earrings she was wearing.
One day, while looking through Hair Design Magazine, there she was Pink…no but the Red and Blue with a touch of Gold…Super Pink Women.
Pink’s ad campaign position her poising as Super Woman.
Well, that super campaign caught the attention and the watchful eye of the Hair Fighter with the same color pact…all for one and one for all in the name of style.

Pink, seems a little bit under pressure, as she worked finishing up one of her models.
I, couldn’t help but to over heard her speaking to one of the stage hands, that she was waiting on one of her models that had not yet arrive, and that’s enough to put any Stylist a little on edge. 
Tiff the Barber, was cutting and lining up her last remained models… taking time to give me a hug.

Today, 6 grand’s now added to the act.
If only you could see the look of a proud mother’s face watching, as her daughter go over the dance route with the grand children, this site would bring a joyful tear to anyone’s eyes.

Well, well, well it seems as everyone by this time and were coming to the end of the act 2 Stylists my job here as media coverage is concern.

I’ve just come from the dressing room writing notes for an up coming Blog story on the back stage going on.
The Ball Room was packed, as I grooved my way in.
Dancing, letting the music captivating my mind clearly showed that I was having a great time.
I was not to hard to miss, as if a light switch was turned on as I entered the room.
The eyes were on me, and I was looking at crowd and up at the stage runway .
I noticed a lovely pair of eyes that was quite interesting.
She had that look as if she really knew me.
I move over to get closer, it turns out she knew of me from my Hair Fighter image days.

She was with her co-worker’s from Morcell’s salon.
Now, I found this seating arrangement quite extraordinary, this makes this a good human interest story, co-worker setting all together enjoying the Hair Wars.
It was remarkable, in today’s world and time where most folks distance themselves from others.

I guess, because of my show budget and always travel with and entourage and my believe is one for all for one so I sat with general admission and my models and saved my money.
Wow, I’m here VIP…oh what a different a day makes when you’re sitting up front.
The first two styles as I walked proudly into VIP, that broke my concentration from looking at the act on the runway, but just one look was all it took when I see men wearing styles.

It was something so smooth and sensational about these two heads…being polite and making my introduction.
I asked them who did their hair
But, all the time in the back of my mind it look like the work of Michael Horner, the Wave Master, and sure enough both sounded Michael Horner.
Michael was not at the show in body, but was well represented by these two hair styles.
I exchanged contact information with the two and Michael Horner, the Wave Master gets the credit for style.
It’s always good to see men holding on the style…hummm it seems like I’m not the only one holding onto style…give them both a hand…and one for myself.
I am happy I was able to catch the remaining few acts that are left in final showing of Hair Wars.
One in particular…was Necy Hayes.
Her grandson early back stage this grandson was so bored, and just wanted to go home
I tried to cheer him up a bit but he was into his own attitude, and wasn’t hearing it…the boy wanted to go home.
But only if you could see this boy now, getting down.
look at him now getting down dancing, smiling and having the time of his life as he walks his walk down the runway.
The show is over…and I’m sure we all had a ball walking out I was mesmerized by a stunning Mo Hawk…turns out that Mo Hawk was Ms. Thang.

It must have been a good 10 years since I’ve seen her last.
But, here’s to you Ms. Thang and the Mo Hawk that stop me in my tracks and ended the show.

While, walking out going with the flow I notice my man, Todd from the old, old, days of Hair Wars…still looks the the looks same.
We talked about the pasts shows and I asked him where is the next stop on the Hair Wars tour?
He told me I would have to ask Hump for that kind of information…..sure I’ll will call him myself, and ask about the next Hair Wars scheduled stop.

I first met Khalife’L, in his creative state, where I first saw him on the Hair Wars stage performing as Edward Scissorhands.
The cat was bad, all dressed in black, and hair fixed in a scary curl and make up around the eyes.
If I didn’t know better I thought it was the Boogie Man
And when I looked at his hands he had 10 Scissor on each finger preparing to do a hair cut…that was skit originality and wonder showman ship.
We exchanged business cards and we departed going our separate ways.

Beauty School is design to show the student the basic ABC of the industry..most student thinks once they complete Beauty School they are ready to take on the World…not so you would need to work under someone to develop the ABC and grow to creative words that will help in your Styling abilities.

This is The Moe Hair Show annual visit to The Motor City and I not taking any chances on missing this Show Production in Hair & Fashion.

I even made a name for myself as a” Hair Fighter”, my days of old has not taken me from the stage lights yes, I miss it of course! but…now I write, on the Internet Blogging each show that I can get to…but personally it’s hard to stay away from all the Hair War happening on the stage action, bright lights and a crowd, but I now have…I think, the best seat in the house.
I write the show review blog and of course everyone knows that the pen is mightier than any sword in any act…see my last Hair Show Story or the story of a man that always wanted to go to a Hair Show.

Showtime is slowing creeping up but I want to allow it to get me in a rut… I’m a professional and I like to do things right when it comes to show Biz…now let me see…now where is that Check List?…everyone as a check list…now where’s mine? … talking to myself as I checked the last pocket inside my suite coat…here it is…Let’s see, oh I forgot to give my check list a name…I’ve in the habit of naming all of my check list dating back to 1993….I think I’ll call this list Show Call.

The phone rang…It’s Michelle… hey De , I was think about the show wanted to come by to talk about a style for the hair show…I told her sure , come on in

I found The Tailor Man number and called him; he said he’ll be there until 6:00 am…ok Ken…and hung up.
Hi De, with the close eye look of The Before Look…never mind what you see now except for those Lovely Eyes that will catch up with on The After Look Blog.
Michelle is so excited about being my model, she told me about her past modeling experience with greats like Karl Reed, John Gooden and Nathanael I can see her blood racing as she was thinking about the upcoming show, or maybe the past shows that she model for , either way the Girl was Happy.
After going through some Hair Design Books and Prestige’s Magazine she stop and found a please short style, long gated on one side and layer throughout the top…sides molded down because we won’t need a curl only the smooth look of a Flat Iron.
Michelle was satisfied with her soon to be look, we will call it the After look.
I ask Michelle if she would drop me off at Woodward and the Blvd…so I can get my pants from the Tailor Man.
I’ll do better than that, I got to run in the Dollar Store that’s across the street, and we’ll meet up and I’ll bring you back to the Salon… OK…sounds like a plan to me…let’s go…I told the receptionist that I’ll be back as we left out the door.
Ok…Michelle, as we part…I’ll be over at Tailor Shop…Hi Ken, walking in, hey De…The Show is Sunday are you ready…as ready as I will ever be as soon as you give me those paints so I can cross them off of my Check List…I finish my transaction with Ken The Tailor Man and sealed it with a handshake, thanks and come again.
When I came out of the shop Michelle is setting with the motor running calling let’s go. The ride to the shop was short but had time to finish my check List.

The only reason for cutting hair is to add to one’s comfort and to keep up one’s appearance. The old-fashioned notion that frequent cutting of the hair and even shaving the scalp would augment its thickness has long since been completely discarded.
