I met Ms Green, back stage while Blogging @ a Hair Wars show. She was there supporting Sly Fox Photos that was in the show.

2 days later @ the New Center Grill she recognized me as the Blogger from backstage @ Hair Wars.

Hair Show on the Island

When the moon has crossed over the sky and the horizon sets in the 7th house of the 7 stars, scattering particles  of star dusk over the horizon, making all things are possible for Fantasy.

As, the star dusk clears the air, the moon turns to red, allowing Jupiter to align with Mars, and peace will guide the plants, and the love and understanding for Fantasy fills the space of the reader’s mind.

Keep, in mind that this story is made up of pure Fantasy, and a little Make Believe… only the Hair Styles and Hair Stylist’s are real in the story.

Space, that final frontier, and, yet the starting point of this story, allowing the facility or activity of imagining things, especially things that are.

Impossible or improbable to form in the reader’s mind it’s all up to the reader to keep reading on with the story.

Space, a continuous area or expanse that is free, available or unoccupied for absorbing input and sorting the information out, by the understanding of what is being read by the reader.

The dimensions of height, depth and width, within which all things exist and moves in the mind of the reader, setting the stage for all kinds of thoughts while reading, opening up,… ones mind with feelings to read more to believe in the story.

Thought, begins, in the creative substance, where all things are made,  and penetrate the inter space of the universe forming an image or idea.

I will guiding you in thriller Night of Entertainment, a Rumble in the Jungle, Fantasy Hair show where you must believe in the power of Hair styling to get on board.

The island, is a Square tropical green paradise island of beauty where all kind of vegetation grows to substane life, a picture perfect place where the air is fresh and clean as any high mountain giving something special to the island.

 

A mystical place of allusion where you can let your mind be free to image and dream of all kind hair styles, from an asymmetric Cuts to Zillions braid style…to Tapered Fades and shaves.

It’s a place where you can wish upon a Hair style, makes no different what Hair style you wish upon, just close your eyes and think to yourself, “it’s nothing like a Hair style”.

Hair entertainer’s that will be performing  such as, Jimmy Mack of Desert of Sin, cutting edge with a Butchers knife.

Fantasy Square Island is located in the Bermuda Triangle, in the Atlantic Ocean…where men and ships have been lost at sea, and still is a mystery

During the rain seasons wind would reach 60 mph and with waves ranging as tall as the GM building in Detroit.

 

Who would dare to go to this show only the bold and the daring enough to dream and the one’s that are definite enough, to attend a Thriller Night of Entertainment Rumble in the Jungle?

Back in the states, De Dazzle, Detroitor show promoter, USAF, Veteran self-made man who owns his own Production called More Hair and More Hair.

He also, had change of hair Salon’s called De Hair Dazzle Hair Salons.

Over the years De Dazzle have heard of this thriller Hair Entertainment Rumble in the Jungle Hair show and this year, he was determined to get on the island at all cost.

De Dazzle is a cunning and  smart business man, and the kind of a boss  that’s in the habit of getting his way.

De Dazzle business partner, knew somebody and that somebody was married to one the show coordinator involved with the hair show.

If, anyone could get on the island,and into the show  De Dazzle will sure to find a way and his mind was working over time.

De Dazzle, had to come up with an act worth enough to participate in the show and had to come up theme bigger, than himself  the representing  for this was no ordinary Hair show, but the Thrill of Entertainment a Rumble in the Jungle that happens once a year and is no ordinary Hair show.

One day while driving to work De Dazzle thought about his favorite Super hero comic, which is the Fantastic 4, marvel comic book characters.

That’s when it hit him,… Fantastic Fantasy 4 Fantasy…hummmm, that’s it

Fantastic Fantasy 4 Fantasy style team strong in creativity and originality.

Fantasy Hair styles, and yet still able to do all phases of style.

Styling abilities increased to 5th degree of creativity because of dedication of continuing education, and many hours of stage presentation in Hair.

Ali is a true top Notch Hair Stylist of many years, a smooth operator when it comes to calling a Hair style Hair style and places a name on every style he creates, a true Hair Entertainer.

Keith Matthews, Hair Stylist and a strong and tall in structure and with the mind-set in his Fantasy Wig collection.

Saying goes…It takes a Village to rise a child but, today it takes one man to create a Fantasy Hair style and Keith has earn his rights his right to be a Fantasy man.

Little Willie the Godfather of style, Little Willie, if anyone can Little is the man.

Little Willie, Salon power and extraordinary and stage performer.

Little Willie was one of the first Hair entertainer that I admired for his style and showmanship when I first stated to attention Hair shows.

 

Once at a Hair show, I attended, where Little Willie pulled a dove out of a French Roll hair style, back in 1993.

Amanda Cassidy, is the fourth, Fantastic Fantasy 4 style team, she is a Pivot Point International, Hair World Champion,..international, award-winning stylist team USA, trainer, american cosmetology education director.

It’s the day of the Hair show, and De Dazzle limo picked up everyone and en route to City Air port, where De Dazzle private jet, Air Dazzle is waiting and all filled up ready for take off.

Once in the air, the unfasten the seat belt light came on and everyone was free to move about  enjoy the first class treatment of  De Dazzle everyone was free to enjoy the first class service and  mention, that he had surprise once we land.

The fasten the seat belt light came and we returned to out seat getting ready for our landing.

The landing was successful we, as we taxi down the run way and we look out of the window we noticed the surprise that De Dazzle was talking about…there it was the Hairy Copter, designed by the late great Mr. Little, R.I.P.

A true legend in his own time, a true performer and master mind when it comes to Hair designs.

It, was a  sad day that day when the world hear of his motorcycle accident.

Here’s to you, Mr. Little and if you were alive today, you would say…this is Mr. Little your  Stylist’s of the Hairy Copter.

The control towers just ground all air and sea traffic in the surrounding areas of the Bermuda Triangle has been grounded…our regrets and the end of Hair Show Fantasy Square Island, Part 1

Happy Blog Birthday

Thank God for another year of living it’s my birthday, June 18, 1952.

I acknowledge You in all your Greatness and your Glory and I thank you for another day.

Today is my Birthday, so now you know…

I, chose to celebrate it by reflecting on my past life style of accomplishment  in Relationships, Family, Friends, Spiritually, Physically, Financial, Social and my new-found love in music by playing the piano and drawing  see, last year Birthday Blog.

The first of the year began Great!!

A new-found love gifted from God above.

Her name is Bessie, different and yet charming, as well as unique and nice as could be.

We met @ the Second Look Hair Salon 18616 Grand River and was introduced to her by Amilia, Hair Stylist/Salon Owner.

Amillila, have known Bessie for sometime and felt she is a nice person seeking relationship like everyone else looking for love.

Bessie, prayer was for a nice man to talk with and her heart was open but not just for anyone but someone to treat her nice.

She cried a many of lonely nights, oh Lord!!… please send me someone nice to talk with after losing her 30 year mate, Dennis.

God, heard her cry and that’s where I come in.

I was also searching for a true and good relationship.

After, 10 years of  keeping to myself in fear of the hurt that most relationship may bring…and truly I’ve been hurt in the past.

I was alone but not lonely.

I was looking for someone to share my life with and was open to the suggestion of Amillia when she said that there was someone in the salon that wanted to talk to me it turned out to be the love of my life, Bessie.

After, Amillia finished shampooing my head over to Bessie and  exchanged phone numbers and the rest is history leading into our 6 months loving on each other.

I know that this relationship is blessed by God, because I prayed that my first date would be in church..and so it was.

After, talking on the phone for weeks at a time I asked Bessie to go with me to church,  Family of Faith Baptist Church 412 Piquetee, Harold Knox.

Bessie soon joined the church and we attend every Sunday.

God is so good in all his ways and I’m a witness to His supreme Glory.

Spiritual, God is still,and always in control and I understand that this world is not my home but I look unto enter in been with God.

I study the word daily by reading the Bible in a year by using the Daily Bread as my study guide.

I’ve been evolved in this study habit going on 5 years.

Well, enough about love and relationships, but, when I think  of home… I think of Piquette Square where I’ve been residing going 4 years.

In my opinion, Piquette Square, Veterans Housing for the Homeless Veterans, 6221 Brush, Detroit, MI.has been the best place that I ever lived, since Mom and Dad.

Because of the many resources and opportunities for better living, security, cleanness and the support of other like individual’s; Army, Navy, Marines, Cost Guard and the Air Forces..

We all live as one family living together, and at times, we may not get along, and, really.. what family don’t have time’s of difficulties.

it’s good remember that we are united by a single cause of the Red, White and Blue and the American way.

It’s good and such a wonderful feeling to look back from were come from and keep my eyes straight forward.

This year was great in completed my studies in Grammar 2 and Spanish 2 @ Wayne State University, Veterans Educational opportunities Program, 5425 Woodward Ave, Detroit, Mi and looking forwarding to fall quarter .

My family life is no different from any other family with ups and downs and those family members that distance there self from each other, but all we can do is pray.

I’m enjoying my retirement going into my second year and I thank God for that.

I have time now to concentrate on my internet business, call Life Leadership & Personal Development.

Last, year I began playing the piano and I’m still in love with the dear fact that I can play the piano.

I play by ear and also I can read music.

Every morning I practice as if there would be no tomorrow and each day I get stronger in my music and song writing.

 

I Still Have a Dream

I still have a Dream.

 Soon, real soon, this Dream will become a reality.

It’s an imaginary Dream, but ,yet so real to me, and real in the hearts, minds and souls in Hundreds of Hair Stylist’s living in Detroit.

It’s a Dream, that Detroit will be one day known for more, than a Motor City, or even a Motown Sound.

This Dream is deeply rooted in the Cosmetology Student Handbook.

A Dream where every French roll will be rolled high, and every hair and strand  neatly in place.

The kind of Dream where there will be no more long salon visits, and no waiting.

I still have a Dream where perms will burn no more.

I have a Dream where every Stylist’s will have the opportunity to be featured on the cover of Billy Cason, Hair Design Magazine.

This is our hope, and this is the faith with which we will return to the salon with.

With this faith we will be able to transform our creative energy’s to be able to accommodate our  customer’s in a professional like manner.

With this faith we will be able to work together, pray together, go to hair shows together, and stand up for styles to together, in knowing that one day our styles will shine.

This will be the day when all Hair Stylist, Barber, Braiders, Manicurist’s and Make up Artist in Detroit will come together to sing to the Crowning of the Hair Capital of the World.

The Melody of Life,  played by my sister Gayle E. Dempson, CEO of Piano Keys for Christ, Atlanta, GA.

I’m De Derrick, and the Melody I play today is a Happy Birthday Blog to my sister..Gayle

Happy Birthday my sweet Georgia Peach enjoy the reading and Bessie, says happy birthday .

Gayle was born and raised in Detroit Michigan on June 5, 1956.

She started piano lessons at the age of 6 years of age.

By, the of 8 years of age Gayle, was playing by ear and the rest is history.

Gayle has three brothers, Gary, Robert, Derrick and 1 sister, Linda. 

Gayle, comes from a musical family which generated from our mom.

My mother, Norma has been singing for years, and ever since I could remember as a young boy going to church.

My mother was the choir director, Loyal Temple Baptist Church, Chene & Scott, Detroit, MI.

 Gayle, practiced and played the piano every day and thank her parents so much for encouragement and their sacrifice in time with arranging for her to take lessons because it has become such a powerful force in her life.

Gayle remembers her Dad saying to her before he died, 06.05.67.

“If I buy this piano, there is no stopping”, she believed in her dad so much she told him she will never quit.

Gayle has 2 wonderful boys, Darius and Demetrius and they are the world to her.

Gayle has played and sang in many churches, weddings, funerals and special occasions.

 God, gave Gayle the vision October, 2008 for Piano Keys for Christ Piano Lessons and Gayle thank God everyday for the inspiration in stating this business venture…Piano Keys for Christ which has a growing client’s  of all ages.

Again, Gayle gives Thanks to God for 50 years of experience and everything that He has already done for her she is extremely excited for what He’s about to do…Thank you God for Piano Keys for Christ and her Students  playing there hearts out.

The second half of the show, was no different then the first half of the show, but with more hair.

Along, with the style of enjoying an evening out, and  letting ones Hair down and it’s about to go down…Oh Boy!!… let’s have some fun.

By now, the ballroom was packed and heated with the excitement of Style  Fashion, Food, Drinks and Fun.

It seems as though everyone was having a good time.

 And why not, we”re @ a Hair Wars show and everything goes in Style/Entertainment @ a Hair Wars show.

Gegio, show Commentator has gotten into position off side of the stage, craze as he can be, and cutting as a Fox when it comes to entertainment.

This will be my third show with Gegio and he sure knows how to go…so let the show begin.

Gegio, did a Great job of entertaining the audience and had them eating out of his hand during…let’s see starting with his first calling..

London Calling was on top of their show game working together in salon corporation and team work and out front opening the second half.

London Calling, l demonstrating the unique way of the use Big Hair, Bright Hair and use of the array of colors…

London Calling was in it to win and @ Hair Wars everyone wins when you participate.

Cheron Jones – Altman, a Veteran  with style for good-looking Hair.

I have not seen Cheron in years, since back in the days of the Days In and Marriott hotel ballroom.

Ali Dushua, Hair Stylist,Salon owner was in grand glory with models featuring a seek preview of his up and coming stage play

 Scandalous Hair, written by Ali Dushua & Lena Claybon.

Ail models all look great as I took pictures with them and talked Hair and Hair shows.

Well, Well look who I see, the world renown Von Jour Reece Fashion Designer.

No one can do it like Von when he does that runway walk..

 Von’s model’s all dressed with the elegant look captivating a moment to  remember for this Hair Wars night and you might see anything walking with Hair on it.

Keith Matthews Beauty Village Hair Salon, in deep concentration of Fantasy while working with his last model’s back stage.

When I think of Fantasy, theme and expresses of a style, I think of Keith, friend of mine.

It has been said, that it takes a whole village to raise a child…but in today’s modern style society world, it take’s, one man only to create a Fantasy style look, that one man is Keith.

Ms. Thang Gloria, Boy!!… it was good to see Gloria and it stared with a big hug.

Gloria and I go back a long way.

The last time we each other was at last year Hair Wars Color show last year.

Blond as she can be with a short cut with curl escalating across her left eye.

I enjoyed watching her old school skit creative and original about the contrast between old school vs.  new school charm.

Last but not lease closing the show, Big Roy, during things in a Big way.

I used to work with Big Roy @ Billie Jo’s Grand River Detroit, Mi, La Tonya Person, Salon owner, R. I. P.

I caught up with Roy back stage while he was putting the final touches on his model.

Hair or no Hair?…that’s a good question? .. and the answer lies within the Hair  the feel of Hair and the look of Hair.

Hair or no Hair?…it’s time for a change.

 From the relaxing experience services of perms.

I’m going  back to my natural roots of the press n curl.

Hair or no Hair?… even though I’m bald I’m still the same old De, happy as I can be.

Hair or no Hair?… because I believe in me…I could wear a weave but that is not what I believe  for me.

Hair or no Hair?… It’s just good to have someone who cares.

Hair or no Hair.

Her name is Bessie, my Baby Boo, standing behind me with love from her heart to mine, because behind Great man stands a woman.

It’s not good for Man to be alone.

Bessie and I,  we prayed a similar prayer, oh God, please send us someone nice to talk to.

Hair or no Hair?…let’s face it, things  could be worse than a bald head, because Life goes on to grow another head.

But, not to have a story to be told of my Love and Passion that Life has to offer to me and Baby Boo .

Hair or no Hair?…God knows all about me, and about you too, for his DNA is planted within my soul and present in everything I see.

So, I tell my story to the world just how good God is in His plan and Purpose for Life.

Hump the Grinder and Billy Cason for their dedication in perusing of their Plans, Goals and Dreams; by show casing Detroit’s Finest Hair Stylist’s, Barbers, Braiders, Manicurist & Makeup Artists helping them along in the journey in Hair Styling.

Hump the Grinder’s Hair Wars, stage presentations in hair, Billiy Cason, Hair Design Magazine, and a host of talented Stylist, all coming together as a city style team in representing and enhancing the beauty of Detroit.

I’m De Derrick, the Hair Fighter/ Barber Stylist/Blogger…fighting hard in keeping the Capital of Hair alive in spirit and in mind and proud to be a native Detroiters.

I created my stage name “Hair Fighter” while serving in stage presentations in the Battle’s of Hair Wars over the last twenty years.

Down, through the years, show after show, near or far… I was on stage entertaining doing my show part or a guest enjoying every minute of the style ride in Hair that has swepted the country and across the sea… by way of Hair Wars.

Hair Wars is now traveling around the world and closing the gap in repetition in starting the show on time @ 6:05 pm.

I can’t remember a show where the 6:05 show time was not honor in keep with the old saying “the show must go on”.

Come with me… it’s almost show time, and watch through the eyes of a Hair Fighter, commentating  back stage and close up front @ V. I. P seating catching the spirit, bright stage lights and the feel of excitement and thrills as each performers unfolds their routines and theme all while having fun down the Run way.

I arrived early, checking in for my Media pass with security.

As, I waited patiently  until security clear my back stage pass.

From this angle I could see the entire back stage area.

The adrenal was  flowing with people working, as beaver’s would do in preparing for their Dam.

I felted the beats, beating hearts… and the tunnel vision of Show time.

I entered in  the room feeling the spirit of it all coming to life.

Act 1 model call and stylist’s claim their area by table’s marked with their name’s unpacking their equipment getting ready for a star stunning night of hair styling.

I’ve already made my quick change into my “Hair Fighter” charter, while the room continues to flow with hair stylists and models arriving for model call.

One thing I notice that Hump enforces his model call check in and if you’re late, pay a fine and may be you will be worked into the show…I know, from first hand experience and I paid from my mistakes for my lateness, realizing that the show Must Go On!

Back Stage area… and everyone is playing their part in handling the hype of the last-minute show preparations; make up, last curl touch up dance steps, one more time again…rehearse to the last-minute make up touch up.

I observed and watched the room, focusing my eye’s and attention, as an Eagle would be setting high above all and see all.

I’m close at hand, and down up front with the excitement of show time trying hard not to miss anything.

I thought, for a mount of the old days,  when I would have 4 – 6 models to get ready and all the Hustle and Bustle of show and the pressure of show time.

Nothing New Under the Sun…just that the faces have change.

Dorsey School of Beauty was well supported…coming out of their hair corner with a double dose of high energy of style excitement, Roseville, Mi. & Lansing, Mi., they brought color braids which added a new look to the show with the eye of the tiger in each stylist eye.

Ruby Jean Davis, Nevada, NM, lovely as ever, as she shows off her very stunning colorful  gown accentuating her colorful braid style.

Ruby has been styling hair since 1963 and her tip for today’s hair show is “learn all you can in the salon.”

Yolanda “Yo – Yo” Carroll was at attendances for her model call…I didn’t get to speak to her but I caught up with one of her models now wearing the Blonde look, longitude on one side.

Flawless Smith, which I had a chance to meet for the first time, sharing the family name of Smith.

Flawless Smith was deep in creative thought as he was working but took time to laid a quote on me, “I will have 8 models.

It was good to see Alonzo Palmer working his fantasy creation out…

I enjoyed watching Alonzo makeup artist, licensed cosmetologist enhancing the beauty of the models completing the style by makeup…the last stop, and Joelle Vanity Rock’s.

Tony Hair Weave Killa stop for a group shot, looking hot with color and style.

It’s intermission, everyone will be stopping by the Hair Wars booth and pick up some DVD’s and support tonight’s sponsors.

2 Days 1 night till Hair Wars

It’s Friday everybody and the Sky’s are clear the sun is shinning bright, with temperature’s ranging in the mid 60’s for the rest of the week.

I’m up early as usual, reading my scripture’s, prayer and the Steve Harvey Morning show.

After, breakfast I’ll go to the supply store to get some Hair…Blonde will be the color for my Baby Boo, 27 piece’s will be the style, trapper side, layer cut with full body through the crown.

2 Days 1 night till Hair Wars and I need my hair trim.

My split end are rough and I need a cut.

I think I’ll stop by Mel’s Hair Salon, 6080 Woodward, Det, MI. and hope that one of the girls could trim me…and I could do the rest, being the I’m the Super Hair Fighter and I’m Super Soul Serious, when it comes to hair.

I’m Back!!!… and getting ready for the Hair Wars show, but first things first…

 

I’s been brought to my attention by close friends and relative’s, asking the questions….where is De Derrick??

or, for that matter where is the Hair Fighter??

Well, let me take this time to help every one out…I’m OK and God is good.

For the last 4 months, I’ve been happy and lucky in Love…her name is Bessie, my baby boo, heaven-sent from God above.

We met last year, while having my hair styled @ 2nd Look Hair Salon

Special shout out!!… to Amillia, Stylist/Salon Owner…for for hooking us up with the introduction.

Bessie and I have talked on the phone at all hours of the day and after hours through the night.

During, this time we discovered that we have shared about the same prayer request to God, for a person that’s nice and to talk with.

Bessie, had lost her mate of 30 years, and have cried a many of nights for help and God directed her path.

For the last 10 years I’ve been by myself been a little afraid of the hurt in relationships like most folks, then came Bessie that adds joy to my life.

Our first date was in church just as I prayed for, Family of Faith, 421 Piquette, Pastor, Harold Knox, where I’m a member, and so is Bessie, after meeting me, she joining last month with Christian experience.

Bad Hair Day

 

Yesterday, Tuesday, I work up to the beginning of my end, that started with  the Bad Hair Days Blues…that ended with good news…

Sure, everyone as the blues with their hair at times, however, today is my day.

Sick as the flu, I’m telling you, but, I know what to do…I’m going to call over to the 2nd Look Hair Salon and take advantage of their Tuesday Senior citizen press and curl $25 Special.

The Hair Capital Dream

 

 Bedtime, the day has grown old, and the time has come for no man to work.

I have done all that I can do for this day…”save some work for  tomorrow”…I always say.

I have just finished oiling and brushing my hair and tied it down.

Now, I laid me down to sleep, I dreams of a vocabulary of words to express the Best of the Best of Hair Stylist’s/Entertainment  that Detroit has to offer.

I dream In appreciation to Hump the Grinder’s Hair Wars and Billy Cason’s Hair design Magazine for the exposure to the world the Hair styles that Detroit is made of.

I dream of a beautiful musical scaled melody of notes swaying from side to side… The hair Capital of the World made in the D…The Hair Capital of the World la,la,la,la…the Capital the Capital…

Yes!!,  it’s true, and over the course of time Detroit has raised an army of talented hair stylist’s, serving our clients and each other in Love, Peace and Hair Grease…again, thanks to Hair Wars and Hair Design Magazine for providing the platform that took us their.

I Dream of a strong rhythm beat to express and support the melody of the song that will be written by the power’s and creative that is invested in a Hair Fighter, with writing and musical abilities to see the job through.

 

 

As, I awake from this dream, I quickly gathered my thoughts, grab a pen and paper, and continued on with turning a dream into the reality to live out  the expression… The Hair capital of the World is made in the D.

Product Man in Lansing

 

 

A Product Line is a group of related products manufactured by a single company.

For example, a cosmetic company’s makeup product ling might include foundation concealer, power blush, eyeliner, eye shadow, mascara and lipstick products that are related.

In the industry of Hair Stylist, having a reliable products that satisfy the needs and wants of having the product at hand to service their clients more efficient.

The Product man, such as Bernard Reams, and his CONVENIENT BEAUTY SUPPLY ON WHEELS, supplying product needs to the Flint, Lansing, Saginaw  and Detroit area to your Salon door.

Time now is 2:15 pm Thursday 27, 2015

I’m setting waiting patiently, at the Greyhound bus station, Detroit, Mi.

I planed and made preparation a 4 day business trip to lean from the product man distributor learning the secrets from the best.

I’m De Derrick, the Super Hair Fighter

This week-end trip to Flint will give me time away from my Styling chair and return with a better and stronger to revised my plans in becoming a disturber of hair products.

 

Well, I’m all check in @ the ticket counter, and the time is now 2:15.

I might as well take time to relax and breathe while going over my notes.

Everything is going according to plan and schedule.

The world is turning

I’m the kind of person that likes to plan ahead, doing this in this way, alone me to formulate my options in working out the best plan to work the situation out.

Today, I’m on my way to Flint, to meet with Bernard tomorrow, Saginaw  Friday and Saturday, Lansing as we roll with CONVENIENT BEAUTY SUPPLY ON WHEELS, and  to promote my the launching of The Barber Shop Blog Realty story time.

The Barber Shop Blog Reality show will feature a selected Stylist, and follow them around during the course of their routine work day.

The Blog story will documenting their activity’s as they go on with their work cutting, styling, shampooing around the Salon.

I’m no stranger in relationship as I think about  helping him sell his product at a trade show.

It was my job to draw people to Bernard’s prouduct table.

I’m a communicator at heart and a people person, which made  the work easy in loving what you love, you just do it.

Time now 2:20, the bus is now boarding.

Moving out of the thermal and on my way…my phone is rings, its Bernard inquiring of my ETA into Flint, where he will pick me up.

The bus ride must have been 45 minute’s.

I arrived into Flint about 4:20 pm; Bernard was there waiting setting behind the wheel, with the motor running, and ready to roll.

I put my bags in the Van and knuckled down on Bernard, as he put the van in gear and hit the pedal and we were of.

I had reservations @ the Holiday Inn, but after checking out my option now that I’m here in Flint, I decided to stay at the Super 8, this in which I saved $140.00.

After, registering into the motel, I took my bags into the room.

Bernard hung around for a minute making sure that I was OK and settled in.

Bernard, informed me that he had to make a run and that I would see him Friday morning to begin the run, headed  to Lansing..

I settled into my room, and realizing it was time to get something to eat by the signal of my stomach saying, feed me!!

Walley’s Restaurant was located next door to the motel, so convenience is the game so I followed through.

Time now, 6:29 pm Thursday.

I truly needed this time off to myself, and  enjoying the quiet and relaxing moments will come easy.

Bernard called me later that evening,checking with me to see if everything was OK.

We talked over business plan and Marketing of what I would expect while were on the road.

that will help one become successful in becoming a Product Man by on the job training.

Time now, 8: 15 pm Thursday and I’m all tired out.

Even, while at home in Detroit, I never watch television its good entertainment but if you want to get ahead faster.

Sure, I look forward to watching the news to only be informed.

I’ll be so, glad when tomorrow gets here, so we can get on the road with the Product Man. Good night…

Oh Boy!!, Tomorrow is finial here, 7:00 am Friday.

I noticed the day light cracking through the curtain’s windows of the motel room.

I  praise and thank God for each and every day no matter where I am He is still the same God.

I continue to read my Daily Bread, and follow the study scriptures readings and then Prayed.

I forget my Bible, but wouldn’t you know it the motel had one in the draw of the night stand.

Waiting on Bernard…I can’t wait to get rolling.

I still haven’t forgot that day talking to Bernard about the business and he informed me that he goes to about 20 salon’s a day with his Convenient Beauty Supply on Wheels, and with a 5 minute limited visit for each salon his life style Wednesday – Saturday…rolling along supplying the need.

I feel happy in my plans, by come to Flint to write this Blog story on the Product Man, supplying the Stylist from his Convenient Beauty Supply on Wheels The Hair Industry makes an interesting stories to tell that will help to establish the beginning edition of the Barber Shop Blog Reality Story, and there’s a story in every salon you walk into.

Time now, 9:19 am

After, breakfast, I returned to the motel to close my eyes for a minute, before the wheels get turning of the Convenient Beauty Supply on Wheels, and further along with this story of a Product Man supplying the hair industry with proper products to a professional job.

Time now, 10:45 am

The Product Man just called, checking in, we’ll be on the road real soon.

The Product Man has a very good system of business where he texts the Stylist before time, giving the Stylist’s time to respond, giving time to fill up the Van with the orders.

I’m glad, that I brought my piano along to keep me company.

I just couldn’t think of not practicing while I was away…so my Casio 66 key Keyboard goes where I go and the Yamaha 77 keys stays at home.

What’s up, Bernard. Good morning, De, ready to roll. Sure, I was born to roll.

I’m truly grateful to Bernard for taking time to taking me under his wings to showing me the inside out of his Convenient Beauty Supply on Wheels.

I enjoy Bernard’s company, and will surly enjoy the ride in and out of the Salon’s.

Bernard, is a regular kind of guy, talking trash, laughter and believe’s in letting the good times rolls, but when it comes to business the fun come a halt.

It’s strictly a business man with a system of supply and demand, as I over heard his conversation  from a stylist inquiring about her order.

Bernard had a pit stop before we got on the road.

I stayed in the van comfortably listening to the radio, chill in with the radio on.

Bernard returned, and were off, and all gas up, next stop Lansing.
